Kleiner Grieskogel is 2669 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 5 km east from the center of Enzingerboden and 12 km southwest of Fusch an der Großglocknerstraße. The nearest mountain hut is Fürthermoaralm/Ebmatten, located 2km northeast. A little further is bivouac Gruberscharten-Biwak. 1.1 km southwest from the summit there is glacier Grießkogelkees, 1.4 km west-southwest from the summit there is also glacier Oberes Hocheiserkees. Southeast of the summit is the valley Käfertal.
