Kleiner Bärenkopf is 2718 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 1.5 km west of peak Klockerin. The nearest mountain hut is Heinrich Schwaiger Haus, located 2km northeast. Closer is bivouac Gruberscharten-Biwak, which is located 1.5km to the southeast. East-southeast from the summit there is glacier Bärenkopfkees, 1.1 km southwest from the summit there is also glacier Schwarzköpflkees. Southeast of the summit is the valley Käfertal.
