Gruberscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 3073 meters located in the High Tauern mountain range. The saddle is located 9 km east-southeast from the center of Enzingerboden and 12 km north-northwest of Winkl. The nearest mountain hut is Schwarzenberghütte, located 2km east. A bit closer is bivouac Gruberscharten-Biwak, which is located 0.1km to the north. West from the saddle there is glacier Östliches Bärenkopfkees, 0.6 km east-northeast from the saddle there is also glacier Hochgruberkees. The saddle is located northwest of the valley Käfertal.
