Description:
Dockscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 3233 meters located in the High Tauern mountain range. The saddle is located 0.3 km west of peak Hohe Dock. The nearest mountain hut is Schwarzenberghütte, located 2km east-northeast. Closer is bivouac Gruberscharten-Biwak, which is located 0.9km to the north-northwest. 7 km south of the saddle there is lake Sandersee. 0.9 km northwest from the saddle there is glacier Östliches Bärenkopfkees, 1.0 km north-northeast from the saddle there is also glacier Hochgruberkees. The saddle is located northwest of the valley Käfertal.
