Mairspitze is 2781 meter high peakon which a cross stands in the Stubai Alps. The peak is located 3 km north of peak Gamsspitzl. The nearest mountain hut is Nürnberger Hütte, located 1.3km southeast. And Schafhütte is also close by. 4 km southeast from the summit there is glacier Simmingferner, 4 km southwest from the summit there is also glacier Fernerstube. North-northeast of the summit is the valley Unterbergtal.
