Description:
Rainbachegg is 2530 meter high peak and is part of the Zillertal Alps. The peak is located 2 km north-northeast of peak Graukarkopf. The nearest mountain hut is Richterhütte, located 4km southwest. A little further is bivouac Neugersdorfer Hütte. 4 km west-northwest of the peak there is lake Unterer Gerlos See. 2 km northwest from the summit there is glacier Weißkarkees, 4 km northwest from the summit there is also glacier Wildkarkees.
