The nearest mountain hut is Schwarzensteinhütte - Rifugio al Sasso Nero, located 3km north-northeast. A little further is Alpenverein Ahrntal. 1.9 km north from the summit there is glacier Schwarzenbachkees - Vedretta di Rio Nero, 3 km west from the summit there is also glacier Trattenbachkees - Vedretta di Dentro. North-northeast of the summit is the valley Floitengrund.
