Breiter Kopf

Description:
Breiter Kopf is 2880 meter high peak in the Zillertal Alps. The peak is located 0.8 km southeast of peak II. Hornspitze - Corno di Ghega near the border with Austria. The nearest mountain hut is Schwarzensteinhütte - Rifugio al Sasso Nero, located 3km northeast. A little further is Alpenverein Ahrntal. Northeast from the summit there is glacier Mitterbachkees - Vedretta del Rio di Mezzo, 1.2 km west from the summit there is also glacier Hornkees. Northwest of the summit is the valley Zemmgrund.
