IV. Hornspitz is 3198 meter high peak and is part of the Zillertal Alps. The peak is located on the border between the country of Italy and the country of Austria. The nearest mountain hut is Berliner Hütte, located 4km northwest. A little further is Alpenverein Ahrntal. 0.6 km north-northwest from the summit there is glacier Hornkees, 1.8 km east-northeast from the summit there is also glacier Schwarzenbachkees - Vedretta di Rio Nero. The peak is located southeast of the valley Zemmgrund.
