Description:
Schmiednock is 2616 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 5 km east-southeast of peak Hochalmspitze. The nearest mountain hut is Villacher Hütte, located 1.9km north-northwest. Ritterhütte is also relatively close. 5 km west-northwest from the summit there is glacier Trippkees, 5 km west-northwest from the summit there is also glacier Winkelkees.
