Description:
Schneekarkopf is 2842 meter high peak and is part of the Zillertal Alps. The peak is located 8 km south-southeast from the center of Gmünd and 10 km south from the center of Gerlos. The nearest mountain hut is Plauener Hütte, located 5km east-southeast. A little further is Karlalm. 4 km east from the summit there is glacier Zillerkees, 4 km east-northeast from the summit there is also glacier Schönachkees.
