The nearest mountain hut is Similaunhütte - Rifugio Similaun, located 5km north-northwest. A little further is bivouac Schäferhütte. 3 km north-northeast from the summit there is glacier Grafferner - Vedretta della Grava, 4 km north from the summit there is also glacier Niederjochferner.
