Wilder Hut - Monte Capello is 2912 meter high peak and is part of the Natural Park Gruppo di Tessa. The peak is located 2 km south-southwest of peak Hintere Faulwand. The nearest mountain hut is Similaunhütte - Rifugio Similaun, located 4km north-northwest. A little further is Obere Stierbergalm. 2 km north-northeast from the summit there is glacier Grafferner - Vedretta della Grava, 3 km north-northwest from the summit there is also glacier Niederjochferner. South of the summit is the valley Schnalstal.
