Description:
Westliches Marzelljoch is a saddle at an altitude of 3408 meters and is part of the Natural Park Ötztal. The saddle is located on the border between the country of Italy and the country of Austria. The nearest mountain hut is Similaunhütte - Rifugio Similaun, located 4km west. A little further is bivouac Ramolalm. 1.6 km west-southwest from the saddle there is glacier Grafferner - Vedretta della Grava, 3 km west from the saddle there is also glacier Niederjochferner. The saddle is located northeast of the valley Schnalstal. The saddle is located on the ridge Ötztaler Hauptkamm - Cresta principale Alpi Venoste.
