Description:
Hinteres Schwärzenjoch is a saddle at an altitude of 3362 meters in the Natural Park Ötztal. The saddle is located 0.7 km north-northeast of peak Hintere Schwärze. The nearest mountain hut is Martin-Busch-Hütte, located 3km northwest. A little further is bivouac Ramolalm. 3 km southwest from the saddle there is glacier Grafferner - Vedretta della Grava, 4 km west-southwest from the saddle there is also glacier Niederjochferner. Northeast of the saddle is the valley Gurgler Tal. The saddle is located above the ridge Ötztaler Hauptkamm - Cresta principale Alpi Venoste.
