Fanatjoch is a saddle at an altitude of 3161 meters and is part of the Natural Park Gruppo di Tessa. The saddle is located on the border between the country of Italy and the country of Austria. The nearest mountain hut is Fidelitas Hütte, located 4km northeast. A little further is bivouac Ramolalm. 3 km north-northeast from the saddle there is glacier Kleinleitenferner, 3 km east-northeast from the saddle there is also glacier Gurgler Ferner. The saddle is located south-southwest of the valley Gurgler Tal. The saddle is located on the ridge Ötztaler Hauptkamm - Cresta principale Alpi Venoste.
