Fanatspitze

Description:
Fanatspitze is 3361 meter high peak in the Natural Park Gruppo di Tessa. The peak is located 0.9 km west of peak Karlesspitze - Cima di Quaira near the border with Austria. The nearest mountain hut is Fidelitas Hütte, located 4km north-northeast. A little further is bivouac Bockhütte. 2 km east-northeast from the summit there is glacier Gurgler Ferner, 3 km north from the summit there is also glacier Kleinleitenferner. The peak is located south of the valley Gurgler Tal. The peak is located on the ridge Ötztaler Hauptkamm - Cresta principale Alpi Venoste.
