Falschungsspitze

Description:
Falschungsspitze is 3363 meter high peak in the Natural Park Gruppo di Tessa. The peak is located on the border between the country of Italy and the country of Austria. The nearest mountain hut is Stettiner Hütte - Rifugio Petrarca, located 3km east-southeast. A little further is bivouac Zielhütte. 1.4 km north from the summit there is glacier Gurgler Ferner, 4 km north-northwest from the summit there is also glacier Kleinleitenferner. The peak is located south of the valley Gurgler Tal. The peak is located on the ridge Ötztaler Hauptkamm - Cresta principale Alpi Venoste.
