The nearest mountain hut is Hildesheimer Hütte, located 2km southeast. bivouac Notbiwak is a bit further away. 0.8 km west-northwest from the summit there is glacier Warenkarferner (Rest), 2 km north from the summit there is also glacier Daunkopfferner. South-southwest of the summit is the valley Windachtal.
