Östlicher Daunkogel is 3330 meter high peak in the Stubai Alps. The peak is located 7 km east-northeast from the center of Sölden and 8 km northeast from the center of Zwieselstein. The nearest mountain hut is Hochstubaihütte, located 2km west-southwest. A little further is bivouac Notbiwak. 0.5 km west-southwest from the summit there is glacier Warenkarferner (Rest), 2 km north-northeast from the summit there is also glacier Daunkopfferner. The peak is located north-northeast of the valley Windachtal.
