Today with a colleague across the border to Grlovec from D.Petra. We were lucky with views in all directions of the sky, only a fairly strong wind bothered us a little. The Stol summit, especially the summits on the entire Košuta ridge, were covered by "thick" clouds. On the path we met 7 Slovenes and only one Austrian.

After many years my husband and I repeated this path today - I quite forgot how steep it is, and of course much more trodden. And quite some "company" too... I'm happy meeting or being overtaken by so many young people... The day was gorgeous, sunny, warm. Path dry all the way, no snow and today not icy at all.

On Thursday at 8 pm the weather forecast on TV Slovenija 1 for the mountain world was quite clear- we advise against visiting high mountains on Friday....it is also worth considering n3jcev's advice

Hot, hot in the sun...

If anyone has been on Križevnik recently, please provide information on how much snow is still on the path?

Deska almost a month later, but in the meantime it got a substantial delivery of snow. It surprised me how much of it still remained despite the hot days.
