I'd like to try ski touring. A couple of weeks ago I saw what it's about and also talked about equipment with a skier in Tamar.
I found a pair of used skis with bindings and I'm interested in how long skis do I need, they are classic, not carving, I'm 1.8m tall.
And opinion on Silvretta bindings which I've seen the most of.

Better for trodden and frozen snow than for ice. I intend to buy crampons, and I'm wondering if anyone has experience with chain crampons Ice Track or Mount Track.

Everything in bloom, mood super when I saw parking fee at Jezerci up 2.5 times.......

During workdays there will be complete road closure from 7:30 to 18:00 until June 30.

From Hotovlje over Bukov vrh. Towards the summit wintery with wind. On the plateau of Pasja ravan a good 10 cm of snow.

Across Kolovrat with light breeze, and locally icy short path sections, but ice bypassable everywhere. Views really wonderful.

And a couple views from the path to Slavnik today from Prešnica. Path without features.

I join the praises. Today at Kremžarjev vrh and the hut. Strudel excellent, not speaking of goulash and štruklji.

Is this also a consequence of increased health concerns during the epidemic?

From Mač past Dolga Njiva to Srednji vrh. Up to Dolga Njiva dry and nicely passable, further to summit also snowy and partly icy, for descent used crampons. Views wonderful....

From Gozd over Ježa to Tolsti vrh and past the hut on Kriška gora to the starting point. Path mostly dry and firm, only towards the summit and first part of the path to Kriška gora snowy with icy sections - crampons needed. Otherwise wonderful views today and really warm for December...

Today's views from Blegoš. To top via Prva ravan, higher partly where not blown away little snow, descent from top to hut path icy.

Today on Dobrča and Šentanski vrh, early in the morning at moonset, windy, on the return towards the valley with sleet and snow. The path from Bistriška planina is snowy in places, but not frozen.
