This weekend at Prehodavcih...at the hut at 7J could see some tracks towards pl. Blato, towards Zadnjica nothing.
But without skis or snowshoes you won't get far... Lp

Those cats really have nothing bad. In the woodshed they have a bowl, next to it are briquettes, daily visitors to Blegoš feed them

Really super that we met Weather was on our side, so we succeeded. Really beautiful mountain, highly recommend you visit it.

After yesterday's conquered Petzeck today (25.8.2017) on this very nice mountain. Tour starts at Wangenitzseehutte where we slept, from there continue to Lienzer Hütte which takes good 2h. Path from hut goes through valley and not demanding up to 2900m where ridge starts. Ridge quite airy but very well secured.

On Thursday,24.8.2017 we did ascent to Petzeck. Since two-day tour was planned we started early at the trailhead. At Wangenitzseehütte we inquired about overnight, although no reservation we could stay without problems. Whole path without issues, still recommend helmet, as it gets steep in a few places.
Apparently they fixed the road since last time, as it's normally drivable

On Saturday (5.8.2017) we did this wonderful circular tour, which we extended a bit. Started at Planina Blato, then across pastures to Štapc, where we turned right across Tičarica, Kopica and Zelnarica to saddle Vrata. From there continued to Kanjavec, arriving just for sunrise. Followed descent to Prehodavci for morning coffee. After break continued across Lepo Špičje to hut at Triglav Lakes, from there across Prode back across pastures to start. Tour wonderful, long and without special features

With good fitness it's easily doable in two days. If it helps, I started at Planina Pecol over Findenegg glacier to Montaž, descent over ladder, then via Leva path to Špik nad Nosom - slept in bivouac, took about 8h to there. Next day continued via Ceria Merlone over Koštrunove špice, via Anita Goitan with Viš, descent to Corsio and back to Planina Pecol, took about 12h. Only problem on this route is water, as no other huts except Corsio, otherwise for me personally the most beautiful tour that calls for repetition

Trail from Čabrač nothing special, slightly frozen in some places, during the day in the sun not even that. A bit more caution on descent and it goes without problems. The trail is well trodden. Lp

Yesterday (1.1.2017) on Mangart. Road normally drivable to the last tunnel, yes even further, but behind the tunnel half the road is under snow, with a slightly higher car it goes without problems. Ascent and descent via the Italian route. Snow hard, all winter gear and caution needed. Day was very nice, only a bit windy on the top

We too were on Triglav yesterday. To Kredarica arrived the day before, after quite cold night in the morning towards summit. Regarding conditions predecessor said all, I also had two ice axes, which I think are quite useful up to Mali Triglav, further only one would really suffice. Despite quite strong wind the day was excellent.

Yesterday (27.12.2016) I was on Špik. Up over Lipnica, snow starts approx at 2000 m, snow hard, all winter gear needed. Descent over Kačji graben, snow almost to end of scree or to larches. Lower path without peculiarities.

Today over Stenarska Vratca to Stenar, snow starts at the turnoff for Vratca. Upper part a bit harder because of little snow, today it went ok as snow was hard. Traverse under Stenar was sinking quite a bit, from turnoff for Spodnji Stenar to summit hard snow again so quick and no issues. Descent over Sovatna, cables mostly out, soon after snow runs out. Lower path no issues. Full winter gear needed for this tour!

Today quick trip for best coffee at Kredarica. Morning snow over Kalvarija nicely frozen, on way back already sinking quite a bit. As predecessor (Franci) wrote, around Kredarica pretty icy and will stay so for days, big cooling coming.

Sunrise and best coffee at Kredarica, then hop to Triglav and back to foggy valley...

Ojoj almost 4 years no post under this wonderful tour Yesterday (23.7.2016) did this tour but reverse. At Štapce turn right along ridge to Prehodavci, visited all peaks except for Velika Zelnarica not sure if right summit. After coffee to Veliko Špičje then descent to hut pri Triglavskih Jezerih. There decided to continue tour via Lopučniška Dolina to Črno Jezero then over Planina Viševnik and Planina pri Jezeru back to start at Planina Blato. Path wonderful, nicely marked and secured where needed, but quite strenuous fitness-wise, I needed 13h with short breaks.
