Yesterday via Rekarjeva to Vrbanove Spires, super route offering great views. There's a small snowfield on the way, but we bypass it easily on the scree. Good there was a light breeze in the upper part, cuz it was extremely hoooot Another super day!

@trigi asked for the Kališče - Storžič path, so I wrote like that it's true I could have mentioned where I went up..

I was up there today, at 9 on top and didn't need it. Also all whom I met until then didn't have it.. so go for it

Yesterday morning around 8am I tried to go up and couldn't, everything was iced over, even though I have new tires and drove slowly.. Another guy told me when we met that he couldn't either.. During the day when it warms up it would surely go..

I went up the Žirovniška where probably most go.. I drove by car to Valvazorjev dom (without chains) where the keeper advised against parking, because someone got a fine a few days ago and because the road is reserved for sledders, so I drove lower instead and warmed up nicely to the hut, signs say the path extends by one hour but if you step well you get there surely earlier below I missed the sign that the road is closed and it's a sledding area, because if I'd seen it 100% I wouldn't have driven up with the car.. the keeper couldn't figure how I made it without chains but slowly it went and no problems (new tires).. Definitely advise against driving by car on this road or sledding area now

Over Sovatna still snow in places, one cable under snow, otherwise no problems on descent and girls who opened Pogačnikov dom yesterday said they came over Sovatna without winter gear
