On Sunday from Klanjec to Cesargrad Mountain. Lots of snow, so snowshoes were very welcome!

Ostrc is a peak of alpine appearance in the center of the Samobor Mountains. It is well visible from afar, and recognizable by steep slopes on both sides. On the top (752 m), from which beautiful views open up, there is a cross. On the saddle below the top is the mountaineering hut "Zeljeznicar". From the hut to the top is about 15 min steep ascent. Our route: Poljanice - Prekrizje - Rancerje - mt. hut "Zeljeznicar" - Ostrc (2 hours). Return the same way (about 1.5 hours). Weather beautiful, sunny, lots of snow! Photos from 27.1.2013.
