After the recent heavy rainfall, I was curious about the consequences of the water flood in the vintgar. There are quite a few broken trees, in the stream bed at certain places quite clogged branches and boulders, in the upper part nature spared the surroundings, otherwise the path surprisingly well "withstood" this flood. At a few places it's noticeable that the water "took" its own paths, but no major damage to the marked path was done. Some impressions on the link below: http://www.mojalbum.com/mosovnik/bistriski-vintgar-09-11-2012 Good luck!

Well, I'm still that fossil who remembers from 1964, when as a fourteen-year-old I was first at this location, the ruined Morbergne. I don't want to discuss whether the politics at that time thought (if it did), or whether it makes sense to restore it or not. The fact now remains that an irreparable mistake was made (it is still possible to correct it) by those responsible at the time. The location is anyway phenomenal.

Well, Bagi!!! Can't find the right words to praise your/their feats and especially respectful path descriptions that you managed to hike. If all who post their experiences managed to post their happenings on their "wanderings" in your style, the posts would probably be more interesting for all of us "armchair hikers"! All the best to you both ahead and safe travels wherever you go.

@bagi: beautiful! Ah, you already know you're the "kings" with your hikes/trips/wanderings/"pilgrimages"/.... All the best to you in advance and good luck wherever you go.

With all the respect I can muster, I congratulate you on your described feat (and of course all previous ones). To your partner I wish a speedy recovery so you can collect kilometers together on your paths again.

@Trobec: regarding the monument and the swallow, I sincerely apologize to you. After searching, I found the post published 07.10.2018, images 11 and 12 (swallow on top of the monument), at 11:55:34, hike done 05.10.2018. It's the NOB monument on Jezerski vrh before Ribniška koča on Pohorje. Won't name the author here, but now with the post details, it's verifiable. Once again, please forgive my mistake and mix-up of the post's author. I wish you many more mountain pleasures and good luck.

@Trobec, there's nothing to add to your posts. You do good, very good, excellent trips (most of which I've done, not once, also myself in your "screaming years"—I have to add that—on the previous PZS forum there are about 400-500 of my contributions). With you, I got "stuck" mainly on your "swallow" posted a while ago in a very inappropriate place (on the NOB monument...you know where). At my age (almost 75) I don't post my "trips", because I'm immensely grateful to the One up there that I can still clip the carabiner and "yell" go or belay. I just wish it stays that way for a while longer and my mission in the mountains will be fulfilled. To you and all yours, GOOD LUCK!!!

(@Trobec,lijaneja):just for info: before I wrote the comment, I also checked the blog with comments, I wear glasses and I'm not blind yet, I'm probably not literate enough with my mere 6th grade education, which doesn't help me in retirement anyway, hi,hi!

Very well documented. We in early 70s last century (mainly self-taught like me), took the traverse as serious alp.undertaking. Myself only (1x from dir. K.Rinka - Skuta) and thought I was "tough guy", later turned out I was one who overestimated abilities compared to other "gravel guys" we met up there. "AlYas", good luck and nice to "read" you.
