I'd like to ask if it's possible to print an individual reply in some general topic e.g. approaches to a mountain: because I noticed e.g. at Raduha that there are concise and useful descriptions of approach options!?

Regards, Tone

14 days ago I wanted to go via Jalovnik to Kob. glava and back to the village Sela. The trail that leads steeply up directs you towards the west and after a while almost disappears. In the steep slopes I didn't see anywhere a trail that would lead upwards to the ridge.
Late hour and the wind discouraged me from searching.
Thanks for the answer.

Thanks. A bit of finger exercise - and it's done.

nice pics + description!
also Krvavica - nice name, reminds of a good dish. Or won't I look stupid if I ask where this hill is?

Only daddy? I think everyone going to the high mountains should wear a helmet.
Helmet wearing will slowly "catch on"; we didn't use trekking poles 30 years ago either!

That's how it goes--- company LOGOS imports them to SLO and then distributes to local shops: 3sport, Alpin sport, Annapurna etc.
Everyone must earn something, agree?!
Tone
P.S. thanks for the tip

Dear Sir!
I completely and fully agree with the forest owner who described how an inattentive or careless car owner can obstruct work in the forest.
I'm also convinced that workers during wood hauling don't stack logs across the path on purpose, but only for practical reasons for loading or transport. As for dogs on hiking trails - trained dogs that walk by the owner and owner also cares for them at the hut - shouldn't bother anyone.

On Saturday I'd like to head to R. from Soriska pl. I've never hiked this trail either. Asking if in these conditions it's possible with snowshoes and without to climb Ratitovec, and if the right direction can be missed on the path!?
Thanks for info and LP.

Alojz, strict staff abst - 100% obvious!!!
But happenings in huts seem simple reflection of our general culture...
We all know drink sales most profitable hut business part. To mountains go all - nature/peace lovers to "sh*itters". That latter "take criticism" first time I hear. But I have 40 to 20 evidence on them. :
Else look over Karavanke or Dolomites and notice different vibe right away.

From hunting hut on Talež you can extend the trip by path behind hut to W along slopes over pl. Arrival at Babji zob. From top of Babji zob descend cart track to village Kupljenik and over meadows to W past chapel down to Sava where cross bridge and to village Ribno not far.
There are also some marks and signs.

Thank you very much for the reply.
I myself have also decided to cut it boldly the second time.
And also this: the excellent contribution in PV-9 by B. Menciger impressed me.

Yes, Blaž, that's right. TSL snowshoes.
Through the forest with snowshoes? Possible.

The Blejska hut on pl. Lipanci is also open for NY. Whoever comes - will be up. nasmeh

True, the site is not for advertising...
And IGLUŠPORT offers the same crampons on sale for
under 100 Eur!
tonej26. 11. 2007 18:11:51
If I can add from my own practice:
4 or 6 point crampons are really only suitable for easier approaches: walking in forest where there are icy roots and paths, or for use on steep grassy slopes.
Even when crossing small snowfields - snow balls up quickly.
They are also impractical to put on.
