I can't stay silent, I thought my anger would subside, but it hasn't! First Brinova glava, now Zmavcari! Man, don't you get it? Don't you think unmarked paths are unmarked for a reason? There are tons of descriptions and guidebooks and whoever wants to go there will find it without your paint! If you can't remember the path without marking it, it's a sign you don't belong there! Better stay in the valley!

Has anyone gone over Kotovo sedlo to the shelter under Špička in the last few days and has condition data? What's the path condition and how are the snow fields on the route? Photos welcome too. Thanks for the info. Safe steps

A couple of pics from 9.8.2014 regarding snowfields on the Špremova path to Grintovec. On the other side where the path joins the one from Mlinarsko sedlo there is no snow anywhere anymore

Hi, I'm interested if anyone went between Kočna and Grintovec - what are the conditions from Zdolška škrbina to Grintovec summit - how with snow patches on that side?

Parkeljc, gasilska is really WORLD CLASS! and the others too. Oh this end is really wonderful! I have had this tour in mind for long, but out of respect haven't managed to get up yet. But I feel I'll do it soon, especially reading and seeing posts.

zjala, in this section the passage is first horizontal, the ledge is solidly wide but loaded, then you have to climb a bit and it might be a bit more tricky, but it goes.

From afar this entry really looks more delicate than it is! But true, the whole path requires concentration, but it's wonderful!

Yesterday fog ruled my path too - trained persistence (a bit left, a bit right, when can't go forward then a bit back) and patience (when cloud engulfs you stop a bit, snack from backpack and when it clears continue!) And in the end: who seeks finds

Well, I checked the conditions in the gully myself - wonderful! Of course with full winter gear.
The serac is still there and will probably stay for some time, especially now that it will cool down a bit.
It was hellishly hot though, especially on the descent on the south side and the snow melted quickly, even though I was already early (10am) on the way down...

Butinarjeva though (from afar) also looks good!

at the end of the plowed road (a bit further from the Bled-Krma junction) at the hamlet which unfortunately slipped my mind. Anyway at the end, where you then turn right to the huts (plowed to the hamlet), straight ahead the path starts - track towards Kovinarska koča. Just out of consideration and to avoid locals' dissatisfaction we all parked neatly and as economically as possible. But true, there's parking for only about five or six cars.

for me too such a view would be enough...

but unfortunately I have to work on Wednesday longer than expected and so even with luck I won't make it... too bad, next year.

But yesterday I checked the conditions and they are really excellent! Go and let the inversion not bother you! It is true that on the section from the shepherd's hut to Kalvarija it sinks and you need a bit more patience, but elsewhere it's so much better that it outweighs everything!

But beware of THE COPS IN KRMA - yesterday evening all cars (all parked quite friendly according to conditions - enough space to drive past) got parking tickets! gypsy band! (so I won't say anything else)
