But that snow field is right above the Loški couloir so if you don't have an ice axe you can slip quite a ways down..

This week is quite humid. There will surely be a thunderstorm, but take an anorak. It's important to be at the top at 07.30 if you start from the shelter at 05.30.

There is still some snow at two spots. Up through the gully you can go around, then down to Špička the snow is already soft. Best to go check yourselves..

I'm interested in the path over Kotovo sedlo? Is there still hard snow in the gully under the summit?

I hike alone, I pay more attention, enjoy more, respect for the mountains is greater, the experience is complete. Regarding injuries it's like this, you need luck, before that brains, don't go where you're not sure.

The trail is trodden, in the morning the snow is firm, later it sinks in, you need to go at first light.

conditions 25jun2010 were such that path from Kačji graben ok, on scree above some small snow, but path from Krnica looks full of snow above scree. so if going without crampons (only ice axe) path from graben better.
