What are the conditions like for Strma Peč?

When conditions are good and safe, Suho rušje is paradise for ski touring.

From Roblek to where the path comes from Zeleniška side, if there is any snow you always need to wade and plow well to get to the traverse path. But it is pure pleasure to "pick" from Zelenica over the scree to the top, of course when conditions allow. This year I didn't go, previous years at least once in winter. For runners of course no, even time on such a tour is a waste to watch. Better beautiful views.

I'm satisfied with Garmin because you can transfer everything to the computer and it's meant as a personal trainer. You see how many km walked, elevation difference, time and many other info. Just for stats. In mountains I enjoy off-trail, or super happy when I find PP, or our well-known red-white marking. But on Debelem vrh in fog it played an important role.

I personally use GARMIN Forerunner 305 and I'm satisfied with it.

Many real mountaineers would be grateful if you organize your loud partying and parties where there are suitable spaces for that. Noise that disturbs people and animals. Just on Roblek it's unbearable every year, and then you boast about such pollution of nature. The profit from such parties is really big, but it has nothing to do with real enjoyment in the mountains and genuine hiking.

I strongly hope that for your relaxation you find a suitable place. Enjoy, but leave peace and quiet to us and the animals in the mountains, which the mountains offer.

Wonderful feeling in the mountains to be alone. Walk at your own pace, rely on your abilities. Enjoy peace and experience nature completely differently than in a group. Hiking in the mountains, searching off-trails and summit experiences unforgettable moments. Whoever is given this will understand what Tolstoy wrote; "Whoever is with nature, is never alone."

Nice tour. I went in the opposite direction. Up via Pipan ladder, down via Findenegg couloir and back to Peccol. Lots of scree in the couloir. The bivouac "attached" to a really majestic spot. Wilderness and peace, so you feel the power of this beautiful world even stronger.

Felix, I'm very glad that those times are gone when crosses were torn down from the tops of our mountains. Don't worry, there won't be a cross on Triglav, but I'm sure our good, old, but still solid Aljaž Tower will remain.

I thought that the PZS leadership couldn't surprise us anymore with bad ideas and sick proposals. But unfortunately, that's not the case. Just as we resisted the ban on the word gornik, we can't stay silent about this incomprehensible idea either. Does a handful of firmly entrenched people at the top of PZS think they can do and make everything? They haven't done anything for the maintenance of the tower. If it weren't for the Friends of Triglav, the tower would be in bad condition. Regarding the proposal that the PZS leadership goes to the museum, I think it's a waste of space there. We'll put more important things in it, worth seeing. Maybe a copy of the tower. The original should stay on Triglav.

For enjoyers, real mountain ramblers, every mountain is interesting. The word "attractive" really has no place in proper mountaineering. On this forum girls also like to find out something, something useful and interesting.

What a strange question!! It's very relative. Depends on the person. Anyway unimportant. Everyone should enjoy within their own limits of preparedness, both physical and mental. For real authentic rambling in hills and mountains height, difficulty and speed of the tour really are no measure. At least not for me.

In summer I plan from pasture Zapotok to the shelter below Špik. Since the path is not marked, I'm curious how difficult the orientation is? I have quite some experience on unmarked paths, but any info is still useful. Thanks.
