On Tuesday late afternoon during descent from Storžič I probably lost my cycling sunglasses somewhere between Baseljsko sedlo and Kališče (white frame, red lenses).

On Saturday, 26.1., somewhere halfway from Komna on one of the steep shortcuts between switchbacks a silver men's watch slipped into the snow. If someone spots it by chance, please contact GSM 031 463 828. Thanks.

When we were returning from Češka koča today around 16:15 there was a proper roar (and it lasted quite a while) above the entrance to Žrelo, as much as we could see more on the right side, where the path from Češka joins the path from the cable car through Žrelo. The rockfall is probably not negligible and others (more competent than me) will assess the passage safety. But I won't go around there anymore this year. And safe steps!

Over Gamsovec today, path fine. No snow.

My brother went up today - without skis or snowshoes. and turned back below the last ascent, because through brush above the shepherds and onwards he was breaking trail all the way. but there's a ski track made, he says, so snowshoes would be fine too. Car left about 500m before the hut in Krma, meaning almost an extra hour walk. Fog to the shepherds and a bit beyond, then winter fairytale..
Be tough guys and tread to the end so I can go up next week too.

What are the conditions from Kamniška Bistrica to K. sedlo? Nice weather forecast on Monday... how much snow, track???
