Track is made where possible, today I was probably the last one up at 14:30 from Kališče.

Better postpone the tour, or go from Krma to Planika-Triglav-Kredarica and back to Krma.

My opinion

Good when they get mileage and extra insoles, before that they really "blister" you well!

All maps available on pastures, so just copy to SD card.
Talking about Garmin handhelds with cartography support.
I have Oregon 450 but screen seems too small to me.

Cheaper device to me some Android phone. Have Alcatel OT-990 in action-bundle 35,00€ and bigger screen visible well in sun.
Loaded Orux maps app on it, 1:25000 cartography (topo maps Slovenia excellently calibrated in Ozi format) got from Partis-u and converted with OruxMapsDesktop to format app reads.
Map on screen same as paper one.
Tested thing in field too, GPS very accurate, pulled track cc. 10 hrs about that much battery lasted without SIM.
Orux maps program has also statistics more extensive than Garmin.

My experiences once you have these toys use them some time, later very useful only where you don't know where forward or back anymore!

Yes, rename the file gmapsupp.img to
gmapprom.img or gmapsup1.img or gmapsup2.img
etc. depends how many maps you fit on SD card.

Rename maps on SD from gmapsupp.img(probably already on device) to
gmapsup1.img, gmapsup2.img ...
and
gmapprom.img(if not already on device)

then they should work if unlocked.

10 days ago no problem (where you walk but no snow on the wires), with a buddy we went circular from Okrešelj to Mrzla gora then under Savinjsko sedlo to Križ-Koroško rinko and through Turski gully back to Okrešelj.

Someone forgot poles above the cable car in Konec, I hung them on a tree, too bad I didn't leave them in the hut in Kamniška Bistrica.
Worth checking if they haven't grown legs yet.

Rain caught us too, so we headed to the bivouac under Skuta

The path from Grintovec, Mlinarsko sedlo, Dolgi hrbet, Skuta to bivouac under Skuta is also
passable.
