Today fog accompanied us most of the path, only at Ostri vrh the sun awaited us. We start in the village Čušperk and continue to the Old Castle (Čušperk Castle)
and further to the Vodice hamlet. From Vodice to Limberk and Ostri vrh. After a short break then back to the starting point. We walked on a marked path. Except the path through Vodice hamlet to Limberk, most of the path is unmarked. Despite the fog a nice path, along the path full of hepatica, snowdrops and crocuses. A nice circular path.

Yesterday a nice, partially circular path past Orožnova koča to Rušni vrh, Črna prst and Lisec. The path to Lisec is not marked but is nicely traceable.

On Saturday 4.7.2026 we hikers walked a beautiful and demanding path to Ankogel. On the way there was another larger snowfield, which however did not pose difficulties on the path. Return ticket for the gondola is 38 eur.

Today's snapshots from a beautiful circular route. Planina Ravne-planina Polšak-Križevnik-Molička peč-under Veliki vrh-under Dleskovec-planina Ravne. Beautiful views, ideal temperature for hiking.

21.6.2026 we hiked a nice circular route to Pristovški Storžič. Up via Kärntner Storschitz (Kranjska pot / Krainersteig). The path itself without any special features.

On Saturday we, the climbers of GK Limberk, walked a nice circular route to Stegovnik. Up via Okno, descent via Močnikovo sedlo. Starting point: Dol. Stegovnik offers wonderful views, but it was a hot day.

Today a nice tour to two two-thousanders starting at border crossing Ljubelj. To the hut on Zelenica via Graničarska path and further on an unmarked path across Suho ruševje to Zelenjak and Palec. Descent via upper path under Možmi. Nice tour, views wonderful.

Yesterday we walked the beautiful, demanding, circular old Border path. When crossing the demanding ridge, great caution is needed so as not to slip. Ascent to the peak Ljubeljščice. Descent to the hut on Zelenica and along the Border path to the starting point. The path is not marked.

On Saturday we, the climbers of the Slovenian Mountaineering Club Skala, traversed and climbed the western part of the Samarske walls and Zub. Interesting route.
The Samarske walls lie in the area of Velika Kapela. The highest peak of the western part reaches a height of 1302 m. They form a difficult-to-traverse labyrinth of twenty rock groups that protrude from the forest. They are built of Jurassic limestone and covered by forest.
The starting point for the tour is at the 13 km mark of the Mrkopalj-Jasenak road.

Today some mountaineers from GK Limberk walked the nice circular trail of seven waterfalls.

On Wednesday a nice circular path past the Korošaski Waterfalls to Kamniški vrh.
At the top I talked with a mountaineer. He told me that older locals call the Korošaski Waterfalls - Slatinski slapovi, because the stream is named Slatina, probably because in Napoleon's time they mined gold here. Does anyone have any information about this?

On Saturday, the Gorniki of the Slovenian Mountaineering Club Skala walked a nice circular path. Started in Spodnja Idrija and via the steep ridge to Gradišče. Descent towards Ledine and through Malne and Trnjene and Kendov dvorca to the starting point. Most of the path we walked on an unmarked trail.
