Today at 5:15 I started from the parking lot below Rinka waterfall. I caught the sunrise just before entering the Turkish Gully. I had just started climbing in the gully when two chamois came nicely to pose for me. I arrived at Skuta exactly at 9:00. Views extremely beautiful!! Since I had plenty of time left, even though I planned only Skuta I also visited the summits of Kranjska and Koroška Rinke. Quite a few people on all summits.

Today we did the mentioned tour. First time we went through Turski žleb - really special experience. At the top fog somewhat spoiled the super experience. Then ascent to Turska gora, followed by descent through "bottomless barrel" and Kotliče, and ascent to Brana. As for the fog, same song everywhere. Visibility was normal only towards Logarska valley. Even worse at Kamniško sedlo - fog you could cut with a knife and it got incredibly cold. Followed by descent to Okrešelj.
But overall - super tour!!!

I know Kamnik is special....real wilderness....but this video is really top-notch. Tons of interesting facts. Hats off for all the effort

Saturday conditions excellent.....all annoying was wind. Conditions in gully super....ice axe and crampons biting as should

Today conditions excellent. Quite soon on the ski slope an icy base appears, covered with thin layer of powder. When crampons are put on, every worry unnecessary On top though windy, had to anchor well Overall super conditions

What's the condition like on Tominškova?

It extends quite a bit (as Otiv said) and it's still quite crumbly.

Only below Skuta there are still two snowfields which I crossed with ice axe preventively. Otherwise doable without.....just caution never hurts. Was on Skuta 13.7. Could be different now. Turski žleb without issues

Are there any special features on this circular tour otherwise?

Yesterday the path took us to Velika Baba. First past Czech hut, then through Žrelo to Ledine. To Baba via the difficult one, which personally surprised me a bit with its crumbliness, otherwise nicely secured except for one broken cable. Weather over this end excellent, visitors to Skuta, Grintovec etc. had more foggy weather.

Just informative... ticks have already started. A good week ago I was up there, one was already crawling on my hand!

This morning my colleague and I headed to Turkish Mountain. Real snow in the true sense starts just before Okrešelj. Snow conditions from there on simply fantastic....no sinking anywhere. In the gully itself similar conditions, just the middle part quite hard, but still good progress. The worst was the sharp wind, which however calmed down completely about 15 minutes after we reached the summit of Turkish Mountain. The descent itself also without issues.

What are the conditions like from Okrešelj onwards and through the Turkish Couloir.

Today on Mrzlica winter in the true sense of the word. Temperature at the hut -15°C, wind quite strong. Here and there appropriate snowdrifts.

I'm wondering if the shown crampons are suitable also for classic winter ascents or should be used only for ice climbing. Thanks.

What are the conditions like on the road to Loki? Is it better to start from Radušnik?
