Does anyone have an idea what to do with my boots that soaked through. I spent quite a bit of money on the boots, as they are supposed to be higher end and for high mountains. They are supposed to be equipped with Goretex membrane and not get wet. The problem happened only on one boot, after some time it soaked first at the sole, the other stayed dry the whole way

Conquered Prisojnik yesterday in very bad weather conditions: fog, rain, and wind via the South path. No snow on the path and it is well marked. Tea at Tičarev dom works great.

Went from Kamniška Bistrica to bivouac then to summit. There are some snowfields, can go nicely around them and they are small. From little Rinka to big one need to cross snowfield ca. 10 m, which is steep, so winter gear there. Further path dry to summit. All protections OK.

Just yesterday on Skuta. First from Kamniška Bistrica to bivouac under Skuta then to the top of Rinka. Path is dry only one snow patch to cross. It's steep, so we put crampons on. Then also to Skuta. Also one snow patch to cross with crampons. Otherwise path dry. All protections OK only 3 pitons a bit loose otherwise no problem. LP

Whoever uses Deuter is satisfied. No one has criticized it yet and you won't either. They sell a lot of the Fatura 38 model, which has a mesh back and breathes better.

Weather was relatively good today compared to forecast. A bit of occasional snow but nothing major (snow didn't even stick to ground), otherwise cloudy and not that cold. Hut was closed although PZS says it opens on Thursdays. Nice path but somewhat slippery. For descent I rather used crampons since I had them. It was very very foggy. Nice tour for winter time

yes. had Alpinines before and did the whole transferzalo in them. Now I have these for summer already for a year. For winter I have Lowas

haven't checked yet since it's still completely wet but good idea what to check. Do you know if there's any warranty on the boots or something similar

Quite a few stamps are missing in our mountains, either you reach the summit and everything is still under snow or they simply aren't there in some places. For example, I was on Košutnik Tower - convinced that there was a stamp in the box, but when I opened it, disappointment. So I really don't know what the one who took it gains from it. I appeal to the association to fix this in the shortest time possible. Unfortunately this is not an isolated case where a stamp is missing.

for soles? That would come into play if the wetting spot was somewhere in the middle of the shoe height-wise. Then it would wet both not just one. But I use it, not every tour but every now and then.

This hut is closed until December because it's being renovated. The stamp from it can be obtained at the hotel approx. 200 m below it. So you don't go there in vain and come back without the hut stamp

I was there yesterday and the rain washed me almost the whole way. I came back soaked like a mouse
