From Logarska to Savinjsko sedlo the path is without particularities - except one easily passable snowfield. At Savinjsko sedlo the path to Mrzli vrh branches off in the direction of Mrzla gora. The path also shows some cairns. To the summit pyramid the ridge is exposed in places, some climbing is needed too. Best to stick to the very top of the ridge. For the approach to the summit I chose a detour to the right on the gravelly exposed ledge. From the summit I descended back to the marked junction to Mrzla gora and then to the summit where there was decent traffic today.

During a one-week trip around Slovakia we also drove to the High Tatras. We chose Štrbské Pleso as the starting point. We selected a circular route that is nicely marked with yellow markers. A literally paved path after an hour and a half leads to the Skok waterfall. A bit above it there is a smaller lake. Then we continue on a gentle path to the next larger lake and then on a slightly steeper section to the Bystre saddle, which was also the highest point of the tour – 2314 m. On the last part chains assist during the ascent. Then followed a descent to the other side to the next lake. The paved path starts descending, which after a while turns into a slightly steeper descent. The yellow marked path joins the red one, which again leads to the starting point. For the entire loop we comfortably needed less than 6 hours as tourists. The views along the path were really something special so I definitely recommend the route.

Three weeks ago there were only faded yellow ones. But I was already looking forward to them slowly disappearing.

Just squinted, I know they're there and waiting. Today I just fulfilled wishes.

Today with a colleague we started around nine from Vršič where there were still quite a few free parking spaces. We headed towards Vratca where we turned left towards the entrance to Hanzova path. This offers nice climbing all the way to the top of Mala Mojstrovka. All protections in excellent condition. Here and there some larch already dressed in autumn yellow colors. At the top we had a pleasant chat with Tina Maze. Then we also climbed Velika Mojstrovka. Down carefully over gravel shelves to the marked path which brought us back to Vršič.

Yesterday from Erjavčeva hut via Kopiščar route through the front window and then along the ridge route to the summit. Back via Slovenska. All protections are in excellent condition, at the last part to the front window one needs to watch out for falling rocks. At the top despite promising forecast there were absolutely no views. Nevertheless both companions were very satisfied as they first approached the summit via this route.

Nice tour, except for Briceljk I haven't visited the others yet. The weather fooled me yesterday too and I was in fog on the top.
But you made me think about the path over Lepoč as I had planned a tour from Plešivec and then along the ridge and would turn down before Bedinji vrh and then over Lepoč back to the marked path. Somewhere I read that the path is comfortable to walk on.

On Sunday to Bovški Gamsovec from Vrata. In the morning a little before seven I grab almost the last parking spot. We head up through Luknja and then right towards the summit. In the sun it quickly got warmer, on the way to the top we also spotted a pair of ibex. At the top pleasantly warm with quite a few visitors. On the way back we went via Sovatna where we met quite a few visitors returning either from Kriški podi or other peaks. It was a beautiful day and the neighbor's "fifteen-year-old" who joined was thrilled with the tour.

He, he Tone, I've had it in my plans for some time, but you beat me to it. I haven't been to Mali Jalovec and Špica in Planja yet. The only thing is I didn't air out the bivouac.

Today I practically repeated Tonet's last tour to Jalovec. Start at seven in Planica. To the hut in Tamar I warmed up properly in a good half hour despite the cold morning. At the junction that turns towards the bivouac, I catch up with the first hiker of the day. Each continues in their own direction, I continue towards the bivouac and then further towards Kotovo saddle. Before the climbing part I put on a helmet and then just enjoy the climbing to the top, when the clock struck exactly eleven. Despite low temperatures the sun warmed enough that after thirty years I enjoyed the top again. Down I go the same way, on the way I also jump to Mali Jalovec, which has the top only about two minutes from the marked path. The path to the top is quite airy, technically not too demanding. At the end I also visit Špica in Planja, which is a nice viewpoint, and access to the top is easy. Only a long descent back to the car followed.

Nice, Tone, I also need to hop up there soon. On Wednesday it really looks good.

Today I set out again to KSA this time towards Planjava. With a colleague we set off from Jermance where there was still some space for parking in the morning. We take the path through Repov kot towards Srebrno sedlo. In the year since I was last on this path the glaring red markings have fortunately faded quite a bit. The path is namely quite well traceable and these daubs are completely unnecessary. Otherwise the path to the top of Planjava without any special features. Quite a few visitors at the top. Descent to the valley via Kamniško sedlo.

We chose Ponte de Ru Curto as the starting point for a beautiful circular tour, where quite a few free parking spaces are available. We walked clockwise, although due to the views the opposite loop might have been better. So after a fairly steep forest path we first reached Lake Federa, which is worth circling along the path as it offers beautiful views. From there we continued to Forcella Ambrizzola. At this pass we then turned right down towards Forcella Rossa del Formin. A slightly steeper path leads to this pass, then follows a descent between huge boulders to the forest and back to the starting point of the path.

At 6.15 I start from Ravenska Kočna where the parking lot was already quite lively. After about an hour I reach Češka Koča and after a sip continue over the scree to the entrance towards Mlinarsko sedlo. The continuation is nice climbing, but one must be careful not to dislodge stones as some ledges are full of gravel. At Mlinarsko sedlo the sun finally peeks out where I continue left across Dolgi hrbet. I almost miss the turnoff for Štruca and after a few photos from its summit continue to the summit of Skuta. After an annoying descent I then climb to Mala Rinka, Štajerska Rinka and finally Koroška Rinka. Only the descent awaited me, first carefully over steps and ropes to the path towards Ledine and then on the hunter's path back to the car.

Yesterday on High and Middle Ponca starting from the upper Lake Belopek. The path through the forest passes quickly and after an hour of walking we were at the Zacchi hut. From the hut onwards the path soon rises steeply, the steel cables are also helpful. At the junction we chose the left path for the ascent, which later turns into a via ferrata. The steel cables themselves are in excellent condition, but there is quite a bit of scree on the path, which means that in case of a larger group it is necessary to watch out for falling rocks. From High Ponca we continued to Middle Ponca. On the way back we returned via the normal route, which is quite steep and scree-covered so considerable caution is required.

You can park at Jermanci all the way to the sign above the last bend from where only rescuers are then allowed... A week ago they also paved the road so it's nicely passable.
