From Logarska to Savinjsko sedlo the path is without particularities - except one easily passable snowfield. At Savinjsko sedlo the path to Mrzli vrh branches off in the direction of Mrzla gora. The path also shows some cairns. To the summit pyramid the ridge is exposed in places, some climbing is needed too. Best to stick to the very top of the ridge. For the approach to the summit I chose a detour to the right on the gravelly exposed ledge. From the summit I descended back to the marked junction to Mrzla gora and then to the summit where there was decent traffic today.

During a one-week trip around Slovakia we also drove to the High Tatras. We chose Štrbské Pleso as the starting point. We selected a circular route that is nicely marked with yellow markers. A literally paved path after an hour and a half leads to the Skok waterfall. A bit above it there is a smaller lake. Then we continue on a gentle path to the next larger lake and then on a slightly steeper section to the Bystre saddle, which was also the highest point of the tour – 2314 m. On the last part chains assist during the ascent. Then followed a descent to the other side to the next lake. The paved path starts descending, which after a while turns into a slightly steeper descent. The yellow marked path joins the red one, which again leads to the starting point. For the entire loop we comfortably needed less than 6 hours as tourists. The views along the path were really something special so I definitely recommend the route.

Friday from Planina Blato classic to Debeli vrh. Pity fog hid desired western ridge continuation. Nice to see ibex group just below summit. Path otherwise unremarkable.

It's open, today quite some traffic

Today from junction past hut at Klemenča cave to Krofička summit. Some snow in upper part but no major issues. After nasty gully with "fellow sufferer" descend to ridge continuation offering nice scrambling and bit of bush fighting to Travnik summit. From there soon veer down and via steep grass then scree to idyllic shepherd's hut under Utas.

For some that was already more than enough. I've already walked those ends, and had to take photos too.

More than ten years have passed since my last visit to Mišelj ridge, so it was time to repeat a part of it. This time with a group from our PD we set off from Pokljuka along the main path that leads most hikers to Triglav. We turned towards Velska and then Mišelj valley where we soon found the turn-off to Koštrunovec. From the top of Koštrunovec we headed through the left grassy gully and then up steep grass to the peak. We continued along the ridge over Na nizkem peak and Mišelj glava and soon after it turned right where through steep scree we reached the marked path to Dolič. The next day I also did Kanjavčev čop, but Glava za žlebom somehow wasn't meant for me. Descent back through Velska valley.

Tone, I see I've accidentally bagged two of those while jumping around other peaks. But I haven't been to Glava nad Skalo yet. Maybe next time I go to those parts, by then I'll find another one. The list is growing again, we'll have to go somewhere else to reduce it a bit

Lopa is a bit out of my range since, as much as I read, it's quite harder.

On Thursday, after a couple of years with a colleague, repeat the traverse Mojstrovke to Šite summit. Fog here and there additionally complicated finding passages, and nice views to Jalovec at the end were nothing either. Maybe next time weather cooperates... The path itself from Kol onwards is much more exposed, difficulty doesn't reach II grade if optimal passages are found. But searching them is fun since not too hard if you stick to the rule not to go too low from the ridge.

Today from Pokljuka to Tosc. Pleasant temperatures and good visibility were the icing on the cake for the nice walk to the summit, which was heavily visited today. Path dry and without peculiarities.

On Friday I also managed to climb this year's "very" popular peak. Start at five with the van towards Vrata. It was fully occupied right away and everyone waiting in front of Mercator had to wait for the next round. My buddy and I started the ascent on Tominšek Path to Stanič Hut. The path is nicely renovated. We continued towards Cmir and at the right spot began descending on the path behind Cmir. The turn-off to Nad Kuhinja špica was easy to spot based on predecessors' descriptions and the path itself is well cairned so no orientation issues.

Nice tour, Tone. How full are these vans in the morning in Vrata or then for the return, so you don't miss transport because everything's full?
