@tinky, excellent photos! It's really a komatar, the more popular folk name is "planinski kos". But fully justified, since they are very related and similar species (thrush family). Kos inhabits lowlands, hills and lower mountains, at the forest edge komatar replaces it. Kos is always bound to trees/shrubs, while komatar can also nest in completely open areas dominated by mountain pastures and rocks. It doesn't shy away from dwarf pine stands either, though for feeding it needs uncultivated areas (e.g. alpages, pastures, rockier parts where dwarf pines don't thrive). Sometimes even a mountain trail through dwarf pines provides enough open space for komatar.

Sadly no picture, but yesterday evening and tonight at Ljubelj we probably met a wolf (not confirmed if it's really a wolf, could also be a jackal).
When it noticed us at about 5 m distance (eye to eye through the window) it got scared and fled, at night it opened the container and took some trash and scattered it around.
By appearance it most resembled a red wolf or a jackal.
It was about the size of a German shepherd or a bit larger, dark brown and had a quite bushy tail.

Kratača that I rescued from the water today. Interesting from the water. It was in the village one, probably they used it for watering gardens. But it couldn't get out, because it was fenced high. I passed by there with the dog, already late afternoon. And it took me quite some time thinking how to get it out of the water. It tried by itself too but couldn't climb up the wall. I found two tires that were nearby and tried to get it to dry land. It took several attempts and finally victory. It was saved. It's just a little animal but still. Long live.

On Friday and Saturday I only briefly saw that animal. Yesterday I could observe it for a few minutes.
In size it's somewhat larger than a fox, head slightly orange with a bit longer beard around the mouth, otherwise dark brown with bushy tail.
By appearance it most resembles a red wolf, by vocalization it's different from a fox.
Pictures taken in dusk through glass, so poor quality.

Probably it's the Istrian jackal, they've multiplied nicely. Also around Kamnik there are lots of them.
