Hi,
it's a domestic pigeon. Not exactly like those we see in cities. I assume it's some special "breed" of pigeon bred for ornamental purposes or racing pigeons (homing). This one probably escaped or got "lost". That it's a domesticated bird is also shown by it not being shy. Such pigeons very conspicuous in environment are easy prey for raptors or foxes etc. Selection anyway...

At our place sparrows are fledging. Something rustled in the gutter and we looked what it was. A young sparrow had fallen inside. It was rescued. I put it back on the roof.

We have blackbird nest with 5 eggs, Sunday two chicks hatched - blackbird hen doesn't bring food but sits on nest would you intervene - remove other eggs-because chicks not as lively anymore, and doubt others hatch since 3 days passed.
