It will be when the technical inspection passes the bivouac, otherwise no usage permit.

Grega, you don't get it. This caste that calls themselves architects and nearly considers themselves 'top' artists offers you a first-class experience to see the vertical bivouac design they sell as unique. Not even mentioning the wooden construction in contrast to the bivouac that 'landed' under Skuta with steel and horizontally designed. By the way, both have OFIS guys who probably didn't think that those the bivouacs are intended for aren't complete 'bunkheads' and could see their 'wonderful novelties' which have truthfully been done before in nature here. Such ideas/designs another slo. architect had before them. Sadly no aesthetic step forward, not even aside.

Something super extra regarding design can't be, since everything is conditioned by much higher costs, e.g., banal example: buy a sack of 25kg ordinary mortar for 4€ or original Shiedel for chimneys at 10€

IgorZlodej or whoever from that end - is the new bivouac on Kanin still locked and unusable? PZS knows nothing, in Bovec nobody knows anything... Didn't they announce the opening already in summer? Has someone on this portal maybe already tested it?

Two days ago a bit around Kanin. Access via winter passages, which are still poorly snow-covered. Snow is hard, locally icy, all winter gear needed. Bivouac locked and unequipped awaiting the joyful event.

If there's no reinforced concrete below, it will really be poor Otherwise, Igor's experienced eye on the impact of mountain forces tells more than any precise measurements .

Since the structure with part of its weight overhangs considerably, they should make here a solid reinforced frame of edge height around 30-40 cm with some vertical anchoring in the rocks and pour concrete over it all.

Ojoj o joj, architects! Lying on bare boards at least under Skuta is such that everything left me, I packed up and went to the valley. The simple, useful, socialist idea was wonderful; let any bivouac be so.

In the bivouac under Skuta there is foam on the bunks.

Bravo, dvojčica. Bivouacs are a lifesaver, not vacation objects.

Can one already (finally) overnight in the bivouac? It's already the fourth month since the day they announced the official opening of the bivouac, which obviously stands and looks (at least from outside) finished and is still left to itself?

I think the opening date is known ; who waits will get it, if they manage access to the bivouac .

Maybe that's right. When I see them every time I return through Žmavčarje, how in the afternoon they rush loaded towards the bivouac under Skuta, 4 or 6 in a column, while 8 are already up there, I just think how they will sleep. And that these few new bivouacs are promoted in all possible media is also wrong. I understand that the designers and builders need to boast and reap some praise, even criticism, but that people from all winds rush to these small auxiliary objects for weekend parties is a pity. To the one who in an emergency runs into a locked bivouac, we apologize in advance, because by nature we are such that the bivouac must be under lock and key.

Grega, if you put a bivouac in such a panoramic location and very close to the valley, you can't expect anything else. And the bivouac itself is of such a shape that it's more intended for enjoyment than for emergency bivouacking. That attracts visitors. I think that under Kanin they rightly decided that the bivouac is under key and under visitor control.
