Blegoš

Today dad would be happy, since I climbed "his" Blegoš. Weather as ordered, wonderful views that satisfy the eye. Although it could already crunch underfoot, we find flowers as if for fun.nasmeh
Up here we can say that the morning is clear as a tear.1
Little man for artistic effect.2
View back there into the mountain paradise.3
In the valley, of course, a sea of fog.4
The direction is right, all the way to Triglav.5

When Christmas Day was already tipping into the second half, we finally set off from home... to shake off a bit of the potica mežikanje and "unstick" our teenagers from the computer zavijanje z očmi.... a nice sunset was promising, so we went to see it from Blegoš... From Črnega Kala directly to the summit, up there quite windy, pulling warm clothes from backpacks to last until sunset nasmeh (yes, if anyone saw our backpacks, they probably thought we were going at least for two days eek). Beautiful views all around, sunset downright fairy-tale... after feasting our eyes on the beauty and the sun finally "sinks", we head to the hut where we eat Christmas lunch or dinner... whatever it was around five in the afternoon, then by headlamp light along the road to the car. It was beautiful and exciting to see our "princesses" whom it's hard to get out of the warm room into the cold, enjoying it indescribably and sincerely, and at the end even thanking for the nice experience nasmeh
Although we enjoyed it zeeeelooo much, we nostalgically remembered past winter ascents to Blegoš when there was snow up to the knees and over and spruces bending branches under snow weight... Today short sections of the path were bare, mostly still some snow, hard and icy, so our "crampons" greatly eased walking... of course possible without, just the step isn't so relaxed... nasmeh
At the beginning the path is dry....1
...but soon becomes snowy...2
View from the path towards our highest...3
Even off the path very little snow...4
View back...5
By the path already quite close to the summit...6

Yesterday's ascent to Blegoš was more than fairy-tale. After quick thinking go or not, I had another option in mind, but quickly decided for Blegoš. No regrets despite already afternoon hour. Wonderful views around, foggy sea below us, no wind, slightly breezy up top but mild temperatures were the icing on the cake. When the sun was already setting I quickly returned to the valley. Conditions nicely described by GITA already,

"Ok, I'll go to Blegoš"nasmeh I said to myself at lunch. Weather inviting, views will be there, just the right summit for today. Somehow I set a goal to be up there at least 15x this yearvelik nasmeh. That's not that many times.
Anyway, I went along the road, since the ridge path is quite icy. Well, you won't believe it, the road is no bettereek. Gotta be careful, or you end up on your butt like me sometimesmežikanje. Warm at the hut, even though it was 4 pm. See two coming from summit to hut. Hoping the track is well made and not too icy, I slowly start climbing to the top. Exchange few words with older couple, then each their way. Starts blowing strongerzadrega, but still bearable. Wherever I look, enchanted, sky above without a single cloudnasmeh. Many would say it's almost kitschy. Three of us at summit. Wind blowing with incredible force, really miss my windstopper glovesmrk pogledzadrega. Look around at peaks that don't leave me cold. Little sun already losing power, means time to go down. And I'm freezing so much, better to gomrk pogled. Sign the book, but with huge difficulty. Hands so cold I could hardly feel the pencilmrk pogled. On ridge meet last hiker of the day. Says he'll just turn at top and return to valley. I go around hut, then quick to start point. Natural light ok, no need for headlamp. At start still windy, so I soon head home too. It was nice and can't wait to returnnasmeh. Meanwhile go to Koprivnik toomežikanjevelik nasmeh.

Somehow managed to get the car today, so first thought was to go to Blegoš. As @užitkar wrote, path to Črni kal nicely plowed and nowhere icynasmeh.
Went up the path (kinda scared of that ridge path because of sinking-blown snow), and it was really nice. After an hour of walking I was at the hut, which is open. Path to summit pretty trampled, but here and there it sinks a bitvelik nasmeh. Well, if motivated, you just keep going up. But in drifts snow is over the knees. At summit warm, wouldn't lie if I said I could be just in a t-shirteek. And no wind. What more could one wantmežikanje? Snow blown by wind, but the remaining is icy. Views as always beautiful. Some came after me, so there was company. Otherwise returned straight down to Prva ravan (past bunkers), there drifted snow about 30 cm. To the car 50 min, path well trodden.

To all thinking of ascent to Blegoš, don't delay, just go. Worth itmežikanjenasmeh.
very important information for all who wish to visit, hikers... the path is well trodden and nowhere icy1
one tip worth considering2
This is how the road to the hut is trodden.3
Under the new snow there is quite a lot of ice, so caution is advised.4
One section of the road is completely icy.5
ahaha... I finally managed to take this photo, it's really good :-) ...6
The views are already beautiful on the way to the hut, what about the summit? ;-)7
A little more and I'll be at the hut... then tea...8
It pulls me up there again... to the warm...9
It's really nice, no big deal :-)10

Another nice afternoon hike. From Črni Kal directly to the summit. The path in the lower part muddy and a bit icy but soon you reach snow. The summit was deserted in the afternoon hours. Return past the hut and along the road back to the starting point.

Hi!

Has anyone maybe walked from Martinj vrh to Blegoš in the last days?
Interested if there's still any snow on the path or if it's completely dry? Is the road to the quarry normally drivable?
