I'm curious how you ,,came,, to the name for the trail - western trail...The ,,circular trail,, as you called it on the Pešpoti portal is more ,,so-so,,. Personally I think, trail uphill of course, yesterday wasn't the right day for it. It heavily intrudes into the wildlife habitat on Boč and that's why it's unmarked too. Years ago it was marked, now it's not. Yesterday was in winter 2014/15 the most inappropriate day for visiting this trail and even less for publicly announcing the visit...Nature somewhere ,,broke,, in the snow structure from northern to southern and that's a shock for animals too, especially regarding movement...If you were  true lover of animals, nature, mountaineering, hiking...yesterday on this trail you wouldn't ,,push,, uphill but would stick to somewhat more right marked and on these pages published. Already Strikan, if I'm not mistaken he wrote to you two years ago November, that these trails we don't advertise too much and put them up, you still continue, even on blog and now peak in winter conditions...If already you hike!?! ,,keep it to yourself and NO!! announce publicly,,.
Winter conditions somewhere ended on Boč in night from New Year's Eve to New Year's Day or in morning of New Year's Day. Yesterday was only winter day about winter conditions only some traces left! Winter conditions were in time of snowfall on Sunday and maybe still in days when really freezing…This trail in time of snowfall, wind,...demanding, after snowfall simple, because ridge anyway wind blows it off, which is already visible on photos…Best
