First there was a proper rumble, then it looked like smoking from the wall, then a dust cloud appeared.

These rockfalls have been quite frequent over the last few days. Yesterday or today there was one under Grintavec in KSA.

Wonderfully captured moments of the night sky, really pristine contact with nature, especially knowing that this is a look into history, since their light set off thousands, hundreds of thousands or even millions of years ago. Actually it's a look into the past! Exciting, right? This week we have the chance to observe more shooting stars from the Perseus constellation. Unfortunately it rises late now, main action expect in the second half of the night! Experiencing clear nights in the mountains is really something we'll tell our grandchildren!

A little-known start from Vrata to Luknja and to Bovški Gamsovec, descent via Sovatna. Slowly, I got pretty close to the ibexes and sat down next to them and all 4 of us admired the mountains. Today I had 5 longer breaks. Peaceful, saw only 2 mountaineers who were quite a bit ahead of me.

Ibexes in Sovatna really are... you can almost sit among them and they don't get disturbed at all. And usually there are quite a few more than four. An experience that imprints forever in memory!
