What's the current condition for traversing the Stol-Muzec ridge? Probably no major issues, but crampons just in case?

We didn't need crampons, but there is quite a bit of snow on the north side and on top of the ridge among the bushes. For more see the link from 29.3.2015 (a bit higher)

On 6.4.2015 we also traversed the ridge from Stol to Gabrovec. We didn't put on crampons, but in some places on the ridge the snow was quite frozen and great caution was needed.

Ridge from Stol to Breška gora traversable without winter gear. The topic belongs under Breška gora, but I can't find it on this portal.

I don't know where you got the name of the mountain Breška gora from. Officially it's Punta di Montemaggiore/ Breški Jalovec 1613m ---> http://www.hribi.net/gora/breski_jalovec___punta_di_montemaggiore/1/1395

and all other original peaks in the Stol range ---> https://pdkobarid.files.wordpress.com/2010/03/planinske-poti-na-pogorju-stola-ki-jih-ureja-pd-kobarid-in-odsek-breginj2.jpg

These are battles around there so many get angry when you say Kobariski Stol, because it's Breginjskivelik nasmeh. Anyway, it's important that we understand each other, we're not as far apart as the Babylonians in the Holy Scripture mežikanje

It would be right if we all used peak names in Slovenia according to hiking maps made by the Surveying and Mapping Institute of Slovenia. In the Julian Alps map at scale 1:50,000 the peak is marked as Breška gora. If there are possible errors in the maps, comments should be sent to the Surveying and Mapping Institute, not to this portal.
