Last Sunday finally (that's because I wanted to go up in the snow this year) to Dobrča, "Gorenjska Balcony" . This fame probably holds in nice weather, but bad luck always sticks to my visits, since I've never enjoyed panoramic views from there .
Weather didn't promise for trips to prominent peaks, so already in the morning hours pondering if we wanted to go to Dobrča . Well, if it rains heavily, we can always turn back. Clouds held pretty well, and strong cold wind was blowing, but it didn't chase us away. Of course we started at the little church in Brezje. The plan was to go past Bistriška planina, but we went the steeper path . Well, above the saddle where good spot for paragliders, steepness starts, serpentines that don't end soon . Well, onwards... with enough motivation and desire for views. We cross the cart track, continue to the top. As said, no views, pity because we didn't continue to Šentanski vrh. Next time. Descent to hut via Podgorska planina. Livestock already grazing on it, livens up the scene . When we arrived, they were closing the hut, but since a young family came wanting drinks, they served them of course, friendly gentleman stamped my stamps too. Since it was blowing unpleasantly, we descended soon. We returned via cart track past Lešanska and Bistriška planina. The descent dragged a bit, but nice anyway.
On the way met 2 hikers on ascent, on descent only one middle-aged couple. Despite promised rainy weather, not a drop fell (path slightly muddy, no big deal), so no regret climbing this "Gorenjska Balconette".
Hut will open permanently soon, on Sunday open till 17h. Caretakers, first impression, extremely hospitable and obliging. Recommend.
