Donačka gora

Good morning...
On Saturday 26.05. I was on Donačka mountain for the first time.
Started at 6.00 at pass Vrhe or whatever it's called, headed towards eastern summit, then along the ridge to western summit and then to Rudi's hut, arrived at 7.55.
There I stamped, ate cheese struklji, drank coffee, asked the friendly hut keeper for a signature and returned towards western summit then to eastern summit and to the car in the valley....
It was fantastic, took about 200 photos and when I have time I'll attach some...

It was the first time and definitely not the last....

Today we repaired the path from the hut to the top, blocked shortcuts and trimmed the top so it will be nicer to see into the valley. Weather foggy, path not so muddy yet. Action under PD Rogatec, food and drink provided by Rudi's hut staff. Best greetings!

we'll give the summit a little trim today

All waste material will need to be carried down to the valley.

At the top it is getting brighter and brighter.

Protection was needed on the north side.

Here and there the path needed to be repaired.

The friendly hut staff took care that we were neither thirsty nor hungry.

Excellently maintained path! Shortcuts visible from satellite image are closed, summit cleared for better view, sawn trees that were across trails! Really praiseworthy! I was really surprised when I went to the top yesterday, before that on Wednesday and in between you did a miracle nasmeh

Yesterday I felt great and did Kupčinji vrh - Donačka summit - Kupčinji vrh 3 times nasmeh

Total this year 31x, so this year it will pile up nasmeh

On Sunday afternoon on muddy Donačka, really shortcuts are blocked, hope now it's calm, summit now visible from afar too.

I went on Monday morning right after rain to try luck in this mud nasmeh

Real adrenaline walk I must admit, especially that part to Rudi's hut nasmeh

yesterday afternoon at 16:00 nobody anywhere! Not on the way up, even less on the way down! Even at Rudi's nobody! All alone in the forest nasmeh

This morning I repeated the exercise 2x nasmeh

and look at that, in that time I met 8 people and one dog! But for connoisseurs, it wasn't Charlie nasmeh

An unpleasant thing happened to me at Rudi's, when I had already ordered I realized I had no wallet, but friendly staff agreed to potato peeling for the next 14 days velik nasmeh

Today again on Donačka. From Vrhe pass via Krče all to eastern summit. Then to summit and down via Frolich to hut. After that action the view from summit now extended to north too.

I also visited Donačka in these days, kind of on the way, from Abraham celebration, went for the stamp. So far I've done quite a few, but such a well-maintained trail you rarely find. Sunny and hot. But the primeval forest provided pleasant shelter from the heat, on the very top a light breeze. I liked it... even though I couldn't see my Košuta from the top nasmeh

Again on Donačka mountain. Up from Kupčinje peak then to eastern summit. Nice view to the south. Western, real summit above even better view to the north. Down via Frolich.

In pitch darkness I set off from home towards Donačka mountain. It's already quite noticeable during the day. During the day sun and hot, the trail dry, shortcuts blocked in some places. Lp!

Well, I decided to check in again, although given my visits to Donačka mountain I could have monologues here velik nasmeh

Today considering it's Tuesday I'm quite satisfied with the visit nasmeh

met 5 people which is excellent for a weekday mežikanje

often I'm completely alone in the middle of primeval forest velik nasmeh

of course today couldn't miss the squirrel nasmeh

After a long time I even took some photos, since with such a number I simply don't know what to photograph anymore, today with nature's help a quite interesting picture was made nasmeh

This morning on top from Žetal along south side over wire and on to summit. Up there warm, a bit windy, fog rolled in, I to the hut for coffee.

This afternoon I went to check conditions on the mountain and must say really wintery and spiced with fallen trees and torn branches. Went up from Kupčinje peak over via ferrata to summit, descent to Rudi's hut to greet Katja and quench thirst, then back to Kupčinje peak. That part from hut to Kupčinje peak is practically impassable due to abundance of fallen trees, so caution advised.

Today the conditions are autumnal again, the trail full of leaves and mud in places, autumn colors which are more fitting for this time.

it would be nice if they really stuck to it, the flag has been torn for a long time and is quarter trash

Today (06.12.2012.) ascent to Donačka. From Kupčinje vrh past hut and on trail to eastern summit. I got to the cable and stopped here... reason is really bizarre. From village to here accompanied me some dog from village and when I realized dog won't go over cable (miracle how it got up at all) I stopped and returned same way down with dog.
Trail is virgin white, seems nobody went here since snow... Very icy, no wind, but that beautiful snow... and the dog event... unique
