Here are some more pics from today. There wasn't as much sun as promised, it shone more boldly only around noon, path slippery like a snail, especially steeper parts to eastern summit and link between both summits, hut open, everything deserted by people (which is not annoying zavijanje z očmi

). Start at St. Jurij and circular around whole mountain, takes good three hours with coffee. Dry overall. Little spruce and flag still in place, today all nicely waving in wind.

At the beginning of the path Snow White guards the chickens, the dwarves are busy with naked beauties... really.

Well, my colleague and I managed to beat all that valley fog today, because on top there's sun! Pity only that wind was blowing quite a bit, mud in the direction Kupčinji vrh - Rudijev dom, inevitable anyway..

Today too I went for sun rays and found them of course. Today wind blew even stronger than yesterday.. But had the best guide beside me, so no worry about getting "lost"!

Finally got snow and went to see winter idyll on Donačka, paths already quite trampled from all sides so no big issues with trailbreaking, so just happily to the top mežikanje

This time took it all on Boč, and quite sorry because I see what views there were. On Boč summit fog, great cold accompanying us whole ridge, sun barely shining at alpine hut.

Today on Donačka Gora a few cm of new snow, the north side still has quite some old snow on the path too, so the path is mostly wintry despite the thaw, extra obstacles are fallen trees from the recent storm.

Today 15-20 cm new snow, I went first through the chimneys, towards Rudijev dom it was already trodden. Path from Kupčinji vrh to Rudijev dom impassable due to fallen trees, at least 20 or more trees down mrk pogled

Just got home, this time I took the proven route, because I have no idea how it is with those fallen trees on the Kupčinji vrh - Rudijev dom section. Well, I decided to drive by car to Rudi. And already here to the top it's one big sadness on sight. Winter sadly did its thing.

The path from Kupčinji vrh to Rudijev dom was on Sunday normally passable, with sad views on fallen beeches, the entire northern slope of Donačka is covered with blooming maxi snowdrops.

Today again nice sunny weather, atmosphere slightly spoiled by strong wind, especially right at the top! Quite a few people today, you can see it's weekend.

Yeah what else than to the top after work.. route known, kupčinji - rudi - kupčinji. Pleasantly warm and light breeze, perfect for shorts! Somewhere in the middle of the path I met a friendly gentleman who removed branches you had to step over, and he even cut one tree to step on it easier and thus over it! At Rudijev dom they thank him for good work! He told me about one path I'll definitely hike! Further proof that stric isn't from flies, those who were there will know on which path this was..

Today a bit before 12 to the top, met only one person.. maybe there'll be more in the afternoon or the wind is to blame that there are none..

Afternoon visit to Donačka gora in nice sunny weather and no wind, which is rare on Donačka. Path without issues, also fallen trees on path are sawn up.

And didn't anyone from yesterday attach a pic? Well, how could anyone manage to take photos in that crowd.. I was on top around 14h, and there were people for 3 buses in between.. not mentioning the crowd at Rudi.. you can see it was a nice day.

On Wednesday I barely escaped the rain, it got me when I was already back down at Rudi! There I even waited half an hour until it poured.. but several got soaked while still on the way up.

Today nice sunny weather, although in the shade it was quite fresh! A new obstacle appeared on the path.. I assume from yesterday's wind..

Yesterday on Saturday, May 10th, in nice, a bit windy lower down weather to Donačka Hill. Starting point in Sveti Jurij first to eastern summit. Nice views reached very far, good that I decided so. After refreshment to western summit. Crowds of hikers below, I go past Rudi's hut. Towards Sveti Donat where nearby I step again on the path I ascended in the morning. It was nice, more on the blog.

Today morning/early afternoon 3x to the top in this wind.. but luck that it blew only on the south side. For Monday quite some people (12).. due to wind new fallen trees! Almost identical spot as some time ago!
