On Friday from Pusti Rovt via Kočna saddle to Belska Planina, back via Suha saddle along the ridge of Mala Golica and Krvavka to Velika Golica.
Narcissi are only still under Mala Golica, but they'll stop blooming soon.
Return via hut under Golica below the ridge towards Pusti Rovt.
Narcissi can still be seen along the path here too, but they won't last until the second weekend.

...I can hardly believe it, from the foggy valley to sunlit Golica. Path frozen in the morning, almost no snow. On the way back already a bit muddy. Above the sea of fog, only the peaks of the Julian Alps and Karavanke were visible..velik nasmehnasmeh

Data for today: winter path to the hut is ok, not many went on the summer one. From the hut I went to Krvavka, but no path to Golica - looking for a hero to trample it.
There is no path!1

I'm interested in a trip to Golica, specifically if we come by train to Jesenice, does some bus go further to Planina pod Golico or can we go on foot from Jesenice train station to Golica or is the path too long?

Guys and gals, I'm from Primorska and not from Jesenice. Altogether it took a good minute of searching on Google... zavijanje z očmi

The bus goes, but it's pretty early, and it only runs on weekdays (?)

On foot it's too long. I'd suggest a taxi velik nasmeh

I called taxi service Rikša from Koroška Bela and the taxi guy said up to 5 km it's 5 ojri. So if viamichelin is right it's 5 km from Jesenice to Planina pod Golico. That means 5.48 ojri one-way ticket Ljubljana to Jesenice assuming travel to Jesenice on Sat or Sun when tourist weekend and tickets cheaper. If you take return Ljubljana-Jesenice-Ljubljana even cheaper, namely better to take return then you chill and only one ticket. When we arrive Jesenice station call Rikša taxi and pay extra 5 ojri to Planina pod Golico, so whole trip around 10-15 ojri, then if we treat ourselves to something warm in hut price up to 15-20 ojri. That roughly first ballpark.velik nasmehnasmeh Of course trip cost changes ie rises if we go to Jesenice by train from other part Slovenia. That's it for now from me, precise info after trip realization.velik nasmehnasmehmežikanje

Yesterday from Planina pod Golico on winter path towards hut on Golica. Snow didn't hold our weight and we sank to the knees and more. Hut closed. Due to avalanches we gave up summit wish, it'll wait for better conditions. On descent sank even more in soggy snow.
Narcissus this year still won't be seen for a while.

there's still a little snow..due to the slope's steepness Golica is already almost bare, Narcissi not yet in Planina pod Golico, or anywhere else. Around mid-May they'll bloom in the ditches, on Golica a week later.
