Thanks for the answer, so according to the signs it's somehow possible in one day.

This is what I needed. Didn't go to Golica, but another 2 hours or so more. Start at 6.00 Javorniški Rovt, Vajnež summit at 8.00, Stol summit 11.30, finish around 15.00. If all in one day depends on how fast you go, breaks, probably no interest to rush past these nice pastures, huts. Daylight till after 20.00.

jprim; I recommend classic ascent to Golica from Planina pod Golico - descent along slope by state border to Jekljevo sedlo - from saddle part of path on marked trail to Klek - when path crosses pastures above Jeseniška planina go towards Klek summit (avoid scrub, think path visible orientation no problem) - from summit back to Planina pod Golico (see route desc Planina pod Golico - Klek (over Rožca))

(see route description Planina pod Golico - Klek (via Rožca)) I checked it out, but it's not proportional to the driving time, I mean it's too short a hike, well for now, while health still holds. We have a principle that there must be at least 2x more walking than driving. LP!

You can extend the route via Hruški vrh to Dovška baba, but true, you have to return the same way to Klek. Another option is from Planina pod Golico along the gravel road to Križovc, then via Pusti rovta to Kočna saddle (see description Križovc-Ptičji vrh), below Ptičji vrh to Suha saddle and on to Golica. If you don't like gravel road you can reach Križovc via Španov vrh, see description Planina pod Golico-Španov vrh and Križovc-Španov vrh (past GRS shelter on Črni vrh). But this second part is a bit more demanding orientation-wise, since it's unmarked, but I think heinz described and pictured this part of the route very well.

... Heinz, you yesterday, me today. In the morning raindrops were warning me that it won't be such a nice day as yesterday. Slopes under Krvavko and Mala Golica are not all green yet. Somewhere the snow has just melted. Yes really, narcissi are very few. Most of them down at the forest edges. Last year May 15th it was all white intoxicatingly fragrant. I think this year there won't be as many narcissi as last year. Buds are still very small. Along the ridge and on the top a strong cold wind was blowing. Friendly caretakers of the hut under Golica, Ljubica and Marija invite you to visit them. The path is nice and dry. Views are wonderful, even today although the weather wasn't the best On meadows above Fenc narcissi are luxuriating in all their beauty
