Oh, what longings! We were pondering, let's wait until the whole Golica is white, well and now it really is white, just a bit differently than we imagined.  Wonderful pictures! We'll go next year to see if it works out.

@Becar by no means was my intention to create longings, just to console everyone a bit with this crazy weather, especially with the snow that probably destroyed many daffodils. To see daffodils all the way to the top, that's harder, they first start blooming in the valley and then in stages up to the top. That takes about 14 days. So let's hope we might still see some this year in higher areas.

tisa undoubtedly your reply was well-intentioned. I was also still waiting for those on the slopes of Golica with Triglav in the background, and around Španov vrh, Rožca, Struška and elsewhere, they were still in buds. Maybe they'll recover after all. That's why I asked heinz if he perhaps knows if weather conditions similar to this year's have ever happened before. I'm really sad if the snow destroyed all those http://stezeinsledi.blogspot.com/ and many others overnight.

....Edina this little snow won't destroy them. It didn't freeze. They used to call this poor man's fertilizer. When you go down from Španovega, left towards the weekend house it's all white. Worth it, guys

....For all of us who love the white narcissus fields under Krvavca and M. Golica. Narcissus are just fine. Those still under snow are just a bit flattened. There are quite a few more than fourteen days ago. The slope between Krvavca and M. Golica is already quite white. Even more buds which are already opening. Next weekend until around June 15th it will bloom. They nodded to me in strong wind with white heads and greeted me Also above Fenc there are still narcissus fields. Path through bushes to hut is wet and muddy

Today to the hut it was dry, further snow and fog. Walking was no problem, just no views. That was in the morning, afternoon probably nicer weather.

Above Fenz they have already quite bloomed out, between Suha saddle and Krvavca they should be, now when the snow melts.

Today the views were super, there is no more snow on the path either. The narcissi are still below Mala Golica above the Suha saddle.
