A promise makes a debt (right?), so debts gotta be settled.  Well, no mistake, this debt was honorable. Promised the lively lady at 84 narcissi on Golica last year, today chance to do the trip. Despite years she briskly from Križevec over Mala Golica and Krvavka to summit, even her half bigger son worried it'd be too much, lady fine. Hats off. Hope we brightened her day, narcissi full bloom still below Mala Golica, though fading slowly. And lots more, cuckoo flowers, marmots, alpine hairy ones, veles.... Escaped rain by half a mouse, on Pustem rovtu a bit wet, so what. Golica quite visited today.

No new buds visible anymore, at start below Mala Golica already quite some wilted. Got rid of snow quick. But true, watered reeeeally well every day.

I spotted narcissi today only on the slopes of Mala Golica and Krvavka. I think this weekend will be the last one to see the white meadows.

Today we did another such easy, enjoyable trip to Golica. Start from Planina pod Golico... same up and down. The path is nothing special, not demanding, just right for us three... .
From Velika Golica we also jumped to Krvavka, but Mala Golica somehow didn't appeal to us...
For Swen11 and others interested, info on narcissi... practically at the end.. only a few remain a bit below the hut (but really quite rare), from afar we saw some more on the slopes of Mala Golica... gotta wait for next year...
But in weather like today, even without narcissi Golica is something unique... it was our first time and we were thrilled by the views it offers. Definitely recommend....

Today we went on a short tour (after flu) over Mala Golica and Krvavka to Koča na Golici. Weather sunny, but extremely windy along the ridge. At the hut pleasantly warm.

Here, first snowy post this year from Golica. Today we went up with a colleague. To the hut it's trodden and OK. Further on full of sinking snow, nothing trampled. So we broke trail, sometimes to the knees and over. It blew so hard that on the way back no trail was left.
Otherwise it was wonderful

I kind of expected this question; the path or rather the road itself, I only discovered recently myself. When you step under Markljeva Planina onto the road, turn right and in half an hour you reach the lower cable car station. It was even plowed recently, I'm attaching some pics...
